Testosterone therapy cost will vary for patients who do not have insurance or choose not to use their insurance.
Testosterone therapy cost for your first year of treatment starts at around $150 per month plus the cost of medication. This cost includes 10 visits and 5 lab tests and you pay as you go.
This is a total cost of $1800 for the first year and includes 10 doctor’s visits and 5 lab tests. If we factor in the average cost of medication (testosterone, hcg, and anastrozole) then the monthly patient cost average is about $200.
Also, keep in mind that after the first year treatment your cost will likely be much lower as you will likely need less lab testing and visits.
Paying For What You Get
Some patients may not need or want HCG. Without HCG, patients doing testosterone injections at home can expect their testosterone therapy cost on a monthly basis to be about $150-180 with visits, labs, and medication. This is an average cost.
Since some people may need more a little attention, if you request or need more visits you’ll likely pay a little more but at Revive Low T Clinic you pay for what you receive. Other clinics charge you monthly fees or a large annual fee and make money by giving you less. At our clinic, you pay for what you get.
Imagine paying some other low t clinic $200 per month and only getting two visits per year. That is $1200 per visit and hopefully includes lab testing. And, often these other clinics are owned by sales people and the doctors come and go (buyer beware).
Unlike other low t clinics, we allow you to get your medication at any pharmacy. Most of our patients pay $200 or less for three months of testosterone injections, HCG, and anastrozole.
Minimum Getting Started Cost
- First visit ($190) + Additional labs* ($50-$378) + Lab review ($70) + 90 days testosterone injections ($100) = $410-$738
- Average Cost First 3 Months = $136-$246 per month
*Additional labs may include PSA, LH, estradiol, and testosterone levels. Currently, all new patients receive free lab testing for testosterone levels and if you have had your PSA or other levels checked in past year we can use that previous level and save you the cost.
In summary, testosterone therapy cost and treatment plans will vary depending on patient need, requests, risks, and other factors. If labs are ordered there is typically a $70 fee to review those labs in the clinic or if reviewed over the phone the fee is $50. Pricing subject to change.
